By train
- Follow the airport signs for the railway station / Treni.
- Take the Leonardo Express to Roma Termini. The non-stop journey takes approximately 32 minutes.
- At Termini, change to a regional train that stops at Tor Vergata. Follow the instructions in section 03.
- From Tor Vergata, continue on foot to ENEA (see “The final stretch” below).
Allow time to collect your luggage, reach the airport station and change platforms at Termini. The 32-minute journey covers the airport–Termini leg only.
By airport coach + train
Take an airport coach to Roma Termini, then continue by regional train to Tor Vergata. Check the coach operator’s boarding point and timetable before travelling; road traffic can affect arrival times.
By taxi or pre-booked transfer
For a direct journey, take a licensed taxi from the official airport rank or book a private transfer to the ENEA address above. Confirm the fare or charging basis for ENEA Frascati before departure.

02 · From Ciampino Airport (CIA)
By bus + train
- Take the airport bus to Ciampino railway station. The bus connection takes approximately 10 minutes. The railway station is separate from the airport.
- At Ciampino station, take a regional train towards Frosinone / Cassino that stops at Tor Vergata. Check the stop list before boarding.
- Get off at Tor Vergata and continue on foot to ENEA.
The airport bus also forms part of the Ciampino Airlink connection to Rome. For this journey, you are travelling onwards to Tor Vergata: make sure your tickets cover both the bus and the correct rail journey.
By airport coach via Roma Termini
Airport coaches also connect Ciampino Airport with Roma Termini. From there, follow section 03. This is an alternative if you plan to stop in central Rome; it involves travelling into Rome before heading out to ENEA.
By taxi or pre-booked transfer
A direct taxi or private transfer avoids changes. Give the driver the full ENEA address and confirm the fare or charging basis before setting off.

03 · From Roma Termini railway station
- In the Trenitalia website or app, enter Roma Termini as your departure station and Tor Vergata as your destination.
- Select a regional service on the Frosinone / Cassino line. Not every train on this line stops at Tor Vergata.
- Check the departure board for the train number and platform (binario). The board may show the train’s final destination rather than Tor Vergata.
- Get off at Tor Vergata. The train journey is approximately 20 minutes, depending on the service.
Taxi alternative: take a licensed taxi from the official station rank, or arrange a private transfer directly to ENEA.
🚶 The final stretch: Tor Vergata → ENEA
The ENEA entrance is approximately 500 metres from Tor Vergata station. Allow roughly 10 minutes on foot, plus time for entry procedures and reaching your meeting room.

Staying in Frascati?
For a hotel in the town centre, Frascati station may be more convenient. From there, arrange a taxi or hotel transfer to ENEA. If your event offers a shuttle, check its separate timetable and booking instructions on the conference website.
Before you travel
- Check your exact travel date: consult current timetables and service notices, including the last return connection.
- Tickets: buy before boarding and follow the validation instructions for your ticket type. Keep your ticket available for inspection.
- Save the venue address: show the driver “ENEA – Centro Ricerche Frascati, Via Enrico Fermi 45”.
- Arrival at the Centre: bring a valid identity document and follow the access instructions provided by the organisers.
