DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Francesco Paolo Orsitto\, Giuseppe Finocchiaro\, Ros
aria Villari\n\nICFDT (International Conference Frontiers in Diagnotics T
echnologies) is an interdisciplinary conference\, aimed at bringing togeth
er scientists\, engineers and experts from industries. to discuss common i
nterests in concepts and realization of measurement systems. Contribution
s are welcome from the frontiers of diagnostics in different areas of rese
arch: high energy and accelerator physics and technology\, nuclear fusion
plasmas\, space and astrophysics research\, medical applications\, lasers
 physics and technology\, etc.\nThe Conference ICFDT8 (#ICFDT8) is co-organ
ized by the Agenzia Nazionale per le Nuove Tecnologie\, l’Energia e lo
Sviluppo Economico Sostenibile  (ENEA)\, the Istituto Nazionale di Fisi
ca Nucleare (INFN) and the International Center Piero Caldirola ETS (ICP
C)\, with financial support from the European Space Agency (ESA)\, the
Milano-Bicocca University and CAEN (Electronics for Research Company).\nA
special focus of this 8th edition (ICFDT8) will be the discussion on ‘
the measurement in the AI era’. Alongside the main framework of plasma p
hysics\, the interdisciplinary character of the conference is fully mainta
ined\, together with sessions dedicated to diagnostic techniques for the
‘preservation of cultural heritage’.\nThe ICFDT8 is organized in 10 se
 ssions\, two poster (poster dim. 841 x 1.189 mm (A0) vertical)sessions: a
session is dedicated to diagnostics for high energy physics experiments a
nd special sessions on diagnostics of DTT  and EAST Tokamaks.\nThe progra
m will include oral presentations (15'+5') and tutorials (25'+5'). Short
oral presentations of 8' + 2'\, aimed particularly at students\, can also
be proposed.\nICFDT8 encourages the ‘in person’ participation: the rem
ote participation will be considered possible but extraordinary.\nThe ICFD
T8 proceedings will be published on The Journal of Instrumentation (JINST)
 .\nICFDT Topics\n\nImaging and medical application\nFusion products\nInert
 ial fusion\nIndustrial and cold plasmas\nCultural heritage\nEnvironmental
applications and safety\nFusion machines (including subtopics on: measurem
ents of temperature and density\; DTT and East tokamaks)\nHigh energy phys
